… the Conseil de la justice administrative has, among its members, nine people who are not members of the administrative tribunals
The Conseil de la justice administrative is made up of 19 members, in accordance with section 167 of the Act respecting administrative justice. Ten of them are from the five following tribunals: the Tribunal administratif du Québec, the Tribunal administratif du travail, the Tribunal administratif des marchés financiers, the Régie du logement and the Bureau des présidents des conseils de discipline, two for each tribunal, including the chairman, and of nine others who are not members of these tribunals, including two who are chosen among lawyers and notaries.

Except for the presidents of the tribunals, which are of office members of the Conseil, the members of the Conseil are appointed by the government for a three-year term.
Activities of the Conseil
The section "Activities of the Conseil" allows one to look into the annual schedule of the Conseil sittings and the dates on which the sittings of the inquiry committees are scheduled to take place.
